It’s not always appropriate to replace original voice over or interviews in a production with dubbing or with voice over in another language. In some cases, it can remove the authentic and the credibility of the film.
It does a big matter when you choose when to do what – and it can support or it can break the trust and the credibility you want to give your audience.

How long is you text for voice over – or for subtitling?
A very good information for you… when translating into other languages, the text length may vary a lot. If we compare the length of the different languages, they can vary to 60% compared with English as the target language.
It might be good to know when texting – or if you plan to translate and use it for voice over.
